How do you spell love? T-I-M-E

I hope everyone’s November is off to a great start. Last week, I challenged each of you to post one thing you are thankful for each day on Facebook. This week I have really been thinking how I can show someone I am thankful for them. There are so many ways we can show our appreciation to someone. I have narrowed it down to just a few things I would love to share with all of you. The number one way to show someone you are thankful for them is spending time with them. Time is the most precious gift we can give someone. We are given 24 hours every single day and we choose what we do within those hours. Trust me, I know life can be very hectic and busy especially around the holidays. That is why just taking some time out of your day to spend with someone you love would mean so much to them. Another way you can show your spirit of gratitude this season is through reaching out to people who may be less fortunate than you. Churches in my community host an event where we fill up bags with non perishable items to give to the homeless people. Also, places like Salvation Army accept different clothing items that they will hand out to the homeless. This is a great way that we can give back this season. Another one of my favorite ways to show our thankfulness is through words of affirmation. Just writing someone a simple thank you note can show them how much they mean to you. Just recently, my best friend left me a surprise sticky note on my work desk just telling me that she loved me. Just that simple act brought a smile to my face that day. These are just a few ways that you can show someone how much they mean to you this season. Holidays are about coming together and remembering what is most important.

Girls ‘Round Here has been very blessed this year. We were able to expand our company by adding a men’s section:  Boys ‘Round Here. We introduced this complimentary new division so our southern gentleman could look as good as we do. We added a new line to  Boys ‘Round Here this week called Priority. These make the perfect gifts for the men who love to hunt. One shirt has a buck on the back standing in a field. Another shirt we carry by them has a dog with a mallard in its mouth on the back. All of our men shirts can be found under the tab  Boys ‘Round Here on our website. Show your man you are thankful for them this season by getting them a shirt.

1Thessalonians 5:18 says,: “Give thanks in all circumstances ; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” God wants us to have a thankful spirit not only in November, but throughout the whole year. We will all go through circumstances where we just can’t seem to find the light. God is the one who gives us just what we need to get through whatever comes our way. We need to thank God every day for what He has given us.
